Supermarkets and fruit and vegetable shops nearby
The Todis supermarket is in Cesi. It is small but well stocked with all the basics and also has a butchery counter.
There is a Coal supermarket in Piani. It has a good selection of basic necessities and also has a deli and patisserie counter.

There is a Coal supermarket in Castiglione Messer Raimondo. It has a good selection of basic necessities and also has a bakery counter.
The Elifrutta fruit and vegetable shop is in Piani opposite the Coal supermarket.
The Ortofrutta Valfino fruit and vegetable shop is in Piani. It is next to the Revolver Bar.

The Lavanderia self-service "L'angolo del pulito" is in Cesi.

Restaurants, bars and cafes
Shortbread Pasticceria is in Piani. It’s great for breakfast pastries, coffee, sweet treats or an aperitivo.
The Revolver bar is also in Piani. They do breakfast pastries and coffee as well as a lunch menu. They also have a bar with beer on tap and a lovely garden with seating.
Pass... E Fermati is in the village of Montefino. It's an excellent pizzeria with an artisanal brewery on site. To make a reservation: 0861 909524
Green Land Ristorante Pizzeria is in the countryside near Controfino and below the village of Castilenti. It’s an excellent pizzeria and restaurant serving local dishes. It has both inside and garden seating. To make a reservation: 0861 999183
La Lanterna is in the village of Castiglione Messer Raimondo in the piazza. It’s a lovely little bar and restaurant with stunning views from the terrace.
Sulla Collina is in the countryside near the village of Elice. It’s a lovely restaurant and pizzeria with an outdoor dining area. To make a reservation: 327 226 4723
Un Passo Dal Mare Ristorante Osteria is in Quattrostrade near the village of Elice. It’s an excellent seafood restaurant serving fresh fish and seafood direct from the port of Pescara daily. To make a reservation: 328 550 3324. They also have a fish and seafood shop on site. 
Agriturismo Domus Colle Marmo is located in the countryside in an area known as Colle Marmo near the village of Bisenti. It’s a fabulous family run agriturismo serving authentic local cuisine Friday to Sunday. To make a reservation: 320 187 9195

Alle volte is in the town of Penne which is about a 30 minute drive. The restaurant serves a modern take on Abruzzese dishes using local products. They have a good wine list and offer vegetarian and vegan options.

Bar Gelateria D'annunzio is in the small hamlet of Madonna degli Angeli and i s regarded locally as having the best gelato.

Paluzzi Bistrot is in the village of Villa San Romualdo. It's a little bit out of the way but they make excellent pastries fresh each morning.

Panificio Villa Cupoli is a bakery and pastry shop near Farindola. They make excellent bread using a local ancient grain called solina which is lower in gluten than regular flour and has a lovely nutter flavour. They also make a good selection of traditional sweet and savoury Abruzzese baked products.

Local producers

Frantoio Tini, mastri oleari dal 1921 is an olive oil mill in the village of Castilenti. They sell quality olive oil direct to the public. They offer a tour of their facilities, by advance booking only, which is available in both Italian and English. You will learn about the entire production process, from the tree to the container and  the tour finishes up in their tasting room where you will be expertly guiding through a tasting session. Caseificio Piola is a local dairy farm and cheese producer in Castiglione Messer Raimondo where you can buy local handmade cheeses directly from the farm shop.

San Lorenzo Vini is our local vineyard. They produce red, white, rosé and spumante wines and they have a retail shop at the vineyard. They also offer a tour of the vineyard and wine tastings whihc need to be booked a few days in advance and we are happy to arrange this for you.

Azienda Agricola Ciccone Vini is a local vinyard that has championed the rivival of a local varietal called montonico which is available as both a white wine and a spumante. They also produce an excellent montepulciano d'Abruzzo.

Tenuta de Melis is another familty run vineyard producing excellent wines, all of which are vegan as they use a flour dirived from potatoes and peas in the clarification process. Amoung the wines they produce you will find a fantastic vino cotto Montepulciano.
